Our Story

Days for Girls Meridian Idaho has been running for 2+ years we over 1000 volunteers and we have been able to affect over 3000 women and girls locally and globally. Our goal is to provide appropriate feminine hygiene supplies to every girl everywhere period. Lack of appropriate supplies has been proved to cause infection, disease, lost revenue, missed days at work or school and has significantly impacted drop out rates among teen girls in developing nations. Because of the social taboos surrounding this topic it becomes the silent necessity. The need no one is talking about. After a trip to Haiti in 2016 I experienced first hand what it looks like to not have access to feminine supplies. I immediately began Days for Girls in Meridian and have returned 2 more times to haiti taking kits that will last 3-4 years. We have been able to provide 1555 women/girls with kits in Haiti, but we have also sent kits with local travelers to Uganda, India, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala and Honduras.
