The Village Method (TVM) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 grassroots organization dedicated to serving and supporting the underserved and often forgotten Black youth and families of suburban South Alameda County. Our mission is to operate as a conduit, build capacity for social change and the advancement of Black youth, families, and community-based organizations. TVM uses a holistic approach in delivering our programs that combines direct services, parent involvement, community connections and cultural awareness programs. We believe in empowering children to succeed by providing a network of support both inside and outside of the classroom. TVM strengthens family and community in local decision-making, and help youth and families access the services they need. We provide a pipeline for students to progress to college, careers and give back to their community.
