Our Story

The VFW-MC is an all volunteer organization that serves the Inland Empire area. With no overhead expenses every cent raised is used for the annual programs below. We are supported by local and county officials as well as community businesses, and recently accomplished the following: Provided 15,400 meals to veterans, seniors and families in need as well as 28 Thanksgiving and 39 Christmas family meals; 3,497 toys collected/distributed for kids in need for Christmas; $2,551 raised to assist fire victims in Northern California; Assisted in raising $16,480 for Warrior Foundation, Freedom Station for warrior support via annual Christmas dinner and silent auction; Conducted our annual 9-11 Memorial Event, raising almost $10,000 for veterans programs; Provided physical/financial assistance to Warrior Station – Freedom Station, Chula Vista Veterans Home and other Veteran Support Groups; Provided meals for 250 for Brad Rich Wheelchair Basketball Championship for Freedom Station; 141 no-cost Home Safe Inspections done for Vets, Seniors & families of deployed military. This includes donating safety items as needed. Smoke/CO detectors, moisture alarms and fire extinguishers; 118 meals cooked/served for Columbus Day at Temecula Senior Center; Monthly care packages donated and sent to troops; Performed 8 emergency home repairs for families of deployed military.
