Our Story

We have been sharing our story since 2013, officially known as RISE TOGETHER, Inc., grassroots 501(c)3 non-profit organization based out of Appleton, Wisconsin. RISE TOGETHER is on a mission to prevent addiction by educating, engaging, and empowering youth to use their voices for change; breaking the silence around addiction and mental health. Founded by a group of passionate storytellers and change-makers. Together, they had a goal: to help save at least one life. They were sick and tired of losing friends and family members while watching so many others suffer in silence. It was then they decided to act; to speak out. They spoke from street corners to parking lots, walks to rally’s, prisons to jails, to the state capitol, and the nation’s capital. However, they didn’t find their home until they started working with youth. Together their team has traveled hundreds of thousands of miles and taken the stage many, many times. Through the years, they have shared their knowledge and enthusiasm with communities across the Midwest; speaking and listening to over 175,000 young people. They dream of a future where millions can use their story for change; deepening connection and building community one story at a time.
